Fallbrook is built on history, and the Lone Wolf Garage helps to restore and maintain parts of that history with their dedicated work on classic cars and hot rods.
A piece of history itself, the garage is located in a World War II-era Quonset hut that was originally the First Fallbrook Garage, erected and run in the 1940s by Jerry Hendorf, a relative to the founding families of Fallbrook. Today, under the roof of the hut, you’ll find father and son pair James and Michael Mroz working under the hoods of vintage cars and hot rods, as they have been doing since 2005.
From tune-ups to complete restoration, there is no job too big or too small for the Lone Wolf. One of a kind projects, such as a 1907 Model R Ford, and more common classics, such as 1955 Chevrolets, will receive the tender loving care needed to get the vehicle into pristine condition. Every element of your complete restoration, from wiring to upholstery, is handled by this experienced team.
With over 70 years of combined experience, the Lone Wolf crew prides itself on being able to complete work other shops have been unable to do. Customers are invited to come into the shop, take a peek at the work, and chat with their mechanic about the car’s progress.
“I want my customers to be involved,” said James. “We do a good job of listening to what people want. For some customers, these cars have been their dream to own since High School. I want to help them fulfill that dream.”
