Fallbrook's largest alarm company, Armed Response Security Systems, is now able to provide additional home security features after being selected by Broadview Security (the next generation of Brink's Home Security) to sell, install and provide their service.

Armed Response Security Systems will continue to be based out of Barra’s hometown of Fallbrook, and satellite offices will open as Armed Response's territory extends from Carlsbad to Newport Beach under their agreement with Broadview.
In the last 24 months, Fallbrook residents have faced an alarming 384 thefts within the past 24 months, according to the Arjis Crime Statistics for Fallbrook.
“People have no clue how bad it is until they get hit,” said Barra.
“Our Sheriff's department is second to none for the amount of staff they have at their disposal,” said Barra. “The fact is, they just can’t be everywhere at one time. Hard economic times are not the sole reason for the ongoing excess of residential burglaries. San Diego County Sheriff Crime Prevention Specialist John McLelland said he is “baffled” that this type of thinking still exists.
“When people leave their homes, they don’t know who is watching them leave or who is walking across the street,” said McLelland. “I don’t know how they can think this way is spite of the Sheriff's Log.”
“It really is not a question of if, but rather a question of when someone gets hit next,” said Barra. “Using good locks and lighting are a great deterrent; however, without sirens alerting robbers that they have been detected and police are on the way, your family and home are theirs for the taking.”
