Youngren Construction is more than a close knit, family-run custom remodeling and new construction company: this is a construction company that aims on providing the best customer service possible and fine attention to details and craftsmanship.
For eighteen years, Youngren Construction has served North San Diego and southwestern Riverside Counties by providing customers with complete remodels for residential or commercial buildings and working jobs of all sizes. From a new front door to a new custom home, Youngren can build it.
Youngren said he became interested in construction after his father built a few houses on speculation. After school, he made a beeline to the site and his hard work paid off. At 16 years of age, Youngren saved enough money to buy his first truck. The job also gave him insight to a lifelong career. “I’ve been in construction for as long as I can remember,” he said, noting how he earned his contractor’s license when he was only 21.
In order to provide even more quality service to their customers, Youngren opened North County Window and Door six years ago, allowing customers to buy quality doors at discounted prices. No subcontracting is done by Youngren, allowing for faster, higher quality work.
“We all work and live in the community,” said company owner Scott Youngren. Youngren’s hard work is not only efficient, it’s friendly as well.
“We had a substantial remodel in De Luz in which we completely remodeled 80 percent of the house, all while the customers lived in the home,” said Youngren. “They were still smiling when we were done, and asked us to do more work for them again.”
Because he knows that a community as close as Fallbrook’s takes dedication from all businesses, Youngren has offered pro bono work to the community as a way of saying thanks and giving back. For instance, Youngren Construction put up sun sails above the children’s play center at the Fallbrook Community Center, shading the children as they play.
Additionally, last October, Youngren took part in an important Fallbrook cause. He volunteered to help bust down the notorious cinderblock wall that was being used as a shield by a local street gang. Youngren, along with grading contractor Michael Daghlian, were the muscles behind the job.
Whether it’s helping a customer create their dream home, or if it’s helping the community become a safer and better place, Youngren Construction is the company for the job. A long list of satisfied references is available for potential clients. Youngren can’t imagine living anywhere but Fallbrook. It’s where he calls home.
“Fallbrook has treated me very well and I am fortunate to live here,” he said.
