Santa Margarita River Trail

Five-and-half-mile hike along the Santa Margarita river. Pico.

From Mission Road, go North on Pico which turns into De Luz Road. Continue two miles, and then make a right at fork onto Sandia Creek Drive. Continue another two miles until you come to a parking area along the river, right before the bridge. The trailhead is east of the parking area.
