The Insider's Guide to Fallbrook, California

A short 18-mile drive from the Pacific Ocean, the greater Fallbrook area is well known for its gently rolling hills, lush groves, ancient oak trees, equestrian and walking trails, riparian areas, nature preserves, and Mediterranean climate.

Fallbrook Christmas Parade

The annual Fallbrook Christmas Parade is an event for the entire family. The evening parade is held each year at the beginning of December. The more than 100 entries are all delightful, ranging from small entries to elaborately illuminated floats. The parade is an excellent example of how many organizations Fallbrook has to offer for all ages. It is worth a couple of cold hands to see the unique and varied entries, which include several shiny fire engines complete with high-spirited cheerleaders. You will even find a large church bus draped with Christmas lights. The Marines from Camp Pendleton are always a Christmas Parade fixture, and it brings a tear to the eye to see them marching down Main Street in their crisp and gleaming uniforms.
